What Franchase offers and who we are
Franchase provides independent, practical guidance for people comparing franchise categories and operating styles in South Africa. We help you weigh up working capital, disclosure documents, territory choices and the questions to ask before buying into a franchise.
We do not act as a broker, do not introduce you to franchisors for a fee, and receive no commission from any franchise company. Our advisory is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd from Sunnyrock HQ, Germiston.
Limits of our advice and your decisions
Our field guides, Fit Finder, Numbers & Notes and all category notes offer general information and practical comparisons. We do not give legal, tax or financial advice. You remain responsible for your own franchise decisions.
Always consult a qualified attorney or accountant before signing any franchise agreement or making investment commitments. We will tell you when a question needs legal or tax expertise.
How we manage your information
If you send us a message, we collect only the details you provide, such as your name, contact number and franchise interests. These are used to help with your enquiry and not for any other purpose.
Your information is stored securely at our Germiston head office, accessible only to the Franchase team. We do not share or sell your details. We follow the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Contact us if you want your information deleted.
We will ask for written consent before discussing your enquiry outside Franchase, unless required by South African law.
Legal basis, liability and jurisdiction
Franchase is operated in South Africa and all our services, guides and contact are governed by South African law.
We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee that every summary or comparison is error-free, up to date or suitable for your specific situation. Our liability for any loss or claim is limited to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Any dispute arising from your use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
